How do i sign up for band?
Please select it on any form you are asked to fill out. If this doesn’t work, contact a Reed counselor or Mr. Maledy.
When does band meet?
6-8th grade bands meet during the school day as part of the students schedule.
How much does Band cost?
Thanks to district support, Band is completely free. We don’t have an infinite supply of every instrument but we will make sure everyone who needs an instrument gets one. You are welcome (and encouraged!) to buy or rent your own instrument.
What instrument should I play?
We can figure that out! If you’d like to get a jump start you can try the instrument finder on our join page.
When/where are concerts?
Band concerts are typically held at the Hillcrest High School (3319 N Grant) auditorium to meet with ADA requirements.
How do I sign up my child?
You can fill out the form here. The deadline to apply is April 30th.
